| Welcome to Chelmsford Lions Rugby Football Club . We have been established for almost 40 years now and have been going strong since 1966. We have managed to produced teams who have made the national play offs and are hoping that in the years to come will even work our way up the the premiership tables, playing that of the ranks of The London Wasps and the Leicster Tigers. Some of players have even worked their way up into that of international teams and have been picked to play for that of the England first team squad. | |||||||
The Chelmsford Lions host a variety of teams ranging from that of the under 10's (minis), through the teenage year groups to that of a colts team and adult teams. All age groups have been known for their talent and have managed to earn themselves a vast supply of trophies and silver ware. As well as the natural talent found out or rugby club this has also been developed via our expert coaches, all of whom are either ex-players or that of professionals who have coached the likes of icons within rugby today. Training sessions for junior members are eveyr tuesday and every wednesday night from seven o'clock till nine o'clock in the evening whilst for adult teams it is seven till nine in the evening on mondays and wednesdays. Junior games will be held on most sundays (coaches and managers will inform players of scheduled times) and adult games will be every saturday (once again coaches and managers will inform players of specific times). |

If you are interested in joing any one of these teams and fit the criteria feel free to come down to the rugby club on 4th avenue street in chelmsford. Once there simply ask to see one of the coaches or managers and he will be able to set you up correctly. If
